Slabs up to 5 ft wide, 16 ft long

We can mill slabs up to 5 feet wide and 16 feet long, typically using redwood, cedar or fir. If you provide us with the logs, we can mill custom slabs out of numerous other local species such as oak, walnut, maple and chinquapin.

Redwood Raised Planter Beds

These attractive raised planter beds are constructed from full 2-inch thick redwood planks milled primarily from the heartwood of either Giant Sequoia or Coast Redwood logs. The corner posts are full-dimension 4×4 posts fastened with Headlok lag screws. Prices below are for a Garden Bed kit consisting of all boards cut to length and posts pre-attached on one end. Screws and a drive bit are included. Add $50 for fully assembled beds.
